The Kauai Outrigger Association is operated by unpaid volunteers. The people who sit on the Leadership Board and Committees give generously of their time. It takes many hours to plan, organize, conduct and properly account for the races that take place each year.
On race day, these are the first people to arrive and the last ones to leave. Before race day they’ve already spent many hours in meetings, planning and preparing. When you see them at any of the events, please feel free to say hello and thank them for all they do to keep things running smoothly.
